Chapter 6 summary
Chapter 6 is all about keeping track of the information you
find on your topic. Taking notes on your print information as well as knowing how to save and organize your digital information is key for this step
of writing your research paper. Taking notes and saving your information helps you learn
more about your topic and helps you decide which sources you are going to end up
using, you will end up with a lot of notes so you have to learn how to organize
them all by using a filling system on paper and on the computer. There is tons of ways to take notes and ways to organize files on a computer or even your phone.
While taking notes on your topic you have to keep in mind plagiarism and remember when you have to quote someone, paraphrase something or simply summarize what you read in the right form. You should also classify your sources, which means set apart different sources that have to do with different parts of your research paper; this will also help you keep everything organized. Lastly you should make a bibliography of all of the sources used while you were taking notes and one that will go with your final paper.

- He demonstrated all of the requirements in a well rounded and good sounding paper. Overall grade that my group would give this paper is a "B". We chose this grade because he was very "jumpy" and often overly emotional. The chosen audience is hard to determine by the way he writes. He was also biased towards one side of the argument, which is displayed in his counterargument sections.
